Here's what I found while searching for my missing thimble.
This was all in one bag:
Two hole punchers
Many fabric scraps
Ridiculously sized rubber band
My first stuffed animal
Cross stitch paraphernalia
Cook book
That denim thread I looked everywhere for but could not find
Plastic baggies
The missing gingher scissors
Mail art
2 full sized hardcover books
Art by my daughter
Stamp making supplies
3 unfinished knitting projects
Many circular knitting needles
The camera!
Embroidery hoop
Stitch markers
Erasers
Pens
Papers
No thimble
It showed up later in my sewing machine cleaning supply basket.
QUILTING TIME!!!!

Haha, that's exactly what happens to me. There's a wine cork in my knitting basket for some reason, but no tapestry needle even though I'm pretty sure I own like, twelve.
Mary Poppins, I presume. :-D I'm totally guilty of this type of supply stashing.
Mary Poppins. Ha! Sad part: Everything I took out while searching just got shoved right back in again. PS - I have more than five gallons of wine corks. Don't judge me! They aren't all mine and at least they aren't in my knitting basket. :).
